How to set up a beautiful Christmas table?

Christmas is one of your favorite moment of the year? You love the fact of ending up with your loved ones around a same table ? Yes, christmas is the perfect occasion to make this reunion even more beautiful by decorating your Christmas table!

Decorate its christmas table : where to start?

First, start by selecting a few Christmas table inspiration images that you like! If IT has no secrets for you, don't hesitate to make a moodboard :)

Define the decoration theme you want to highlight: nature, golden, silver, fairy, winter ... Lots of themes exist! At Dendro, with our decoration on our Capucine table, we have chosen to combine the theme of gold and nature!

When you have chosen your decoration theme, take stock of the decoration you have and your dishes! Next, make a list of what you are missing. Remember to go to flea markets, you will have a good chance of finding what you are looking for!

A nature theme for your christmas table

If you want to make a nature theme like us, here is what you will need:

- fir branches
- bright led garlands in yellow tones
- golden or green Christmas balls
- golden candlesticks
- napkins in beige / ecru fabrics
- string

The center of the table, between fir and christmas balls.

First of all, start cleaning your solid wood table, put a few fir branches in the center. You can take real branches or fake branches, it doesn't matter, as long as they are environmentally friendly. (It's no longer a secret, protecting the environment is one of our commitments).

Add some bright garlands, you can wrap it around your branches, or simply put it on!

Then, place a few Christmas balls on the center of the table, don't hesitate to play with the sizes and the patterns. You can put very simple gold and green ones, and others with a few light patterns.

Finally drop a few pine cones that you will have previously picked up during a family outing!

This nature theme associated with a solid wood table, can only please you and your guests, the two going very well together!

The dishes, the one that will illuminate your table!

And yes, at Christmas it is also an opportunity to bring out your best service and to showcase it! :) We opted for our white and gold plates, associated with golden cutlery!

Wrap your fabric napkins, cut a piece of string and wrap your napkin with it. Tie a knot, and slip a small fir branch into it! You just have to put it next to your cutlery, or on your plate!

Finally, add one or two candle holders, a few candles then a champagne bucket, and your Christmas table is ready! You just have to enjoy your loved ones and have a good New Year's Eve!
